After Piano, Composition, Conductorship studies, he carried on an artistic career as pianist and conductor till 1975 and begun to write music since 1963. His pieces have been performed and radio-broadcasted trough Italy and abroad as well (International Festival of Volos, 1970; Luxemburg, 1982; Toronto, 1984). In 1983 he was awarded the First Prize of the International Composition Competition “Città di Castelfidardo”. Among his symphonic and chamber works, guitar creations stand out numerously and frequently performed (firs performance of Two Guitars and Orchestra Concerto at the International Guitar Festival – Toronto 1984). He has taught Score-reading at the Conservatory of Padua until 1977. In his very last production (Six Lieder for voice and piano; Six Klavierlieder for piano solo; pieces for organ) he has started to revisit and use melody, harmony and counterpoint in a new personal tonal way.
