He got the guitar Certificate at the Conservatory “G. Tartini” in Trieste (Italy) under Professor Bruno Tonazzi. He began a concert successful career obtaining great results from critic and audience. Deeply involved in spreading out original guitar repertory for ensemble he played and joined several orchestras and cameras’ groups. Since more then ten years he plays the lute with the Madrigalisti di Venezia participating to international festivals (Germany, France, Switzerland, Monte Carlo, Austria, Spain, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Finland, Bulgaria, Turkey, Mexico, Egypt, Cyprus, etc.). Together with the Madrigalisti di Venezia he won the “Premio Venezianello 1981” and obtained the nomination from Supreme Supervisor of the President of the Italian Republic. He plays in Duo with the flutist Giorgio Blasco and the City Hall of Trieste assigned them an official recognition called “Sigillo Trecentesco of the City of Trieste”. He recorded and taped for many different Companies, the RAI TV, as well as for many different TV and Radio European associations. Ennio Guerrato works and co-operates with the lyrical theatre “G. Verdi” of Trieste and other local theatres too. He teaches classic guitar at the Conservatory “F. Venezze” of Rovigo and the Conservatory “B. Marcello” of Venice. Still he teaches at the Conservatory “G. Tartini” of Trieste. Founder membership of the Contemporary Music Association “Chromas” he is the Art Director of the Association “Trieste Musica”.
