Bruno Bosio was born in Turin on 31 January 1954. An infant prodigy for his exceptional singing skills, he studied violin and, at the same time, starts studying piano with the distinguished teacher Maria Golia at G.Verdi Conservatory in Turin. He begins his concert activity as a pianist and is appreciated by the public and the critics for the depth of his interpretation, the crystalline pianism and the beauty of sound. A very important figure in his piano training is Maestro Orazio Frugoni with whom he studies for several years. In 1978, when he's just 24 years old, he wins the Chair of Piano at G.Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro. Then, in October 1983, he takes part as the only Italian pianist in the brahmsian celebrations, by performing the 2nd Concerto in Si bem. Magg. op. 83 by J. Brahms with the Philarmonia Hungarica Orchestra conducted by Uri Segal. Deeply interested in the technical problems of performance, he writes "Cento esercizi tecnici per pianoforte " (A hundred technical exercises for piano) and the "Cadences" in Re and Sol Concertos by J. Haydn ( Pizzicato). He has been a teacher at G.Verdi Conservatory in Turin since 1983.
